Why did you choose the steel industry and why thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria?

Melted steel impressed me when I was a child and along with my wish to work with people predetermine my carrier. Why thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria? Because thyssenkrupp has been a lеаder in steel business since the last century and will continue to be so in the future.

What are the daily challenges for someone who chooses to work in such a „tough industry”?
Meeting customers’ requirements with a smile, while staying focused and doing everything correct in order to stay valuable partner for them.

What makes it exciting? What is it that attracts you to this industry or to thyssenkrupp Materials Bulgaria?

For me, the attraction is unpredictability of my daily job. Every day we face different challenges and obstacles, but working together as a team we are stronger than our competitors.

How can you best balance work and private life to make time for everything? Is it even possible? What is the secret of your success?

This is the hardest thing in my life! Of course, the family is the most important for everybody. One of the positives of Covid 19 is that it allows us to work from home. Thanks to the development of technology, mobile phones and computers, we can work and be with our families at the same time. It helps you balance work and family life. However, I am focused when I am working and I do not compromise until the job is done.

Why do you recommend the women@MX initiative to your female colleagues?

Whether a woman or a man is a better choice for a particular job is a question of professionalism and the wish to work in the field of steel production or trading.
