Why did you choose the steel industry and why thyssenkrupp Materials Hungary?

I was looking for a controlling position nearby, but I did not know anything about the steel at that time.

What are the daily challenges for someone who chooses to work in such a „tough industry”?

Now it is more tough because of the market situation rather than the industry. There are more questions have been arisen which never questioned before. We cannot say we do it like before since before does not exist.


What makes it exciting? What is it that attracts you to this industry or to thyssenkrupp Materials Hungary?

I love my job and I am so proud being part of this company. During my 7 years I have never felt I needed something else. This is a very supportive workplace, especially the people. How can you best balance work and private life to make time for everything? Is it even possible? What is the secret of your success?

I believe balance is in you so I work hard to have myself in balance to get everything in balance around me. I do sports, I eat healthy, I have me time regularly and I adore a man I live with.  I have a husband with whom we respect our profession/roles very much no matter I am wife, a mother or an employee. Balance is coming so naturally this way.

 

Why do you recommend the women@MX initiative to your female colleagues?

I strongly believe men and women have different cooperation instruments and all of those have to work together to have our business successful.  And we need more women to be heard, I think women@mx can help in this journey.
