In our calculations, we consider the total emissions of our products, as well as the finished or semi-finished parts and components you purchase, according to the cradle-to-gate approach, i.e. from production to delivery to our customers' factory gates. We bring you the information security you need to make the best decisions.
To measure the emissions of your company or product, multiple options are valid. Here you can learn about the differences:
Here, emissions are recorded through direct measurements and data collection along the entire supply chain. Information on energy consumption, means of transportation, raw materials, etc. is collected and offset against each other.
A mathematical model is used here that calculates emissions on the basis of economic activities in various sectors. It takes into account the interdependencies between the sectors and enables a comprehensive analysis of the entire value chain.
The LCA examines the environmental impact of a product or service over its entire life cycle. It not only records CO2e emissions, but also other environmental indicators such as resource consumption, waste generation and air pollution.
